I went for a run on the mall this afternoon and was surprised to find a drake Redhead in the pond amongst the Mallards and about 16 Ring-necked Ducks. There was also an adult Yellow-Crowned Night-Heron perched on the ice burying its head into its chest feathers. This was around 3:30.
I'm sorry I didn't see the reports of the Glaucus Gull before I left. I would have grabbed my bins and extended my run to include Hains Point.
