9 White-winged Scoters (found by Dave Czaplak around 2:30) were still
present at Riley's Lock around 5 pm this afternoon. They were tucked in
pretty tight to MD shoreline about 100 yds downstream. I was not able to see
them from the aqueduct and had to carefully scramble down to the river bank
to get a look at them. Upstream of Riley's, also close to MD shoreline, were
8 Redheads.
