I had a productive afternoon on Oland Rd in Frederick County. I found at least 6 Lapland Longspurs feeding along the road edge. I also had a light morph Rough-legged Hawk perched on a fence post right along the road, affording great views both perched and then on the wing.

My morning efforts to find the Rough-legged Hawk at Blue Mash were not as successful.
