All: Found a single Cackling Goose in the roughly 350 Canada Geese on
thawed-out Lake Artemesia, PG County, this morning. Also present were 2
Hooded Merg couples, a few Ring-Necked, a FOY Pied-Billed Grebe and many
Ruddy Ducks starting to show their spring colors.

Even better, perhaps, I heard several Song Sparrows for the first time
this year clearing their throats and singing the first notes of their
crazy song.

Good birding!
