Hi All,

Attempting to catch the Wood Stork was not successful and probably a
mistake. I personally see nothing wrong with it besides its sedentary
ways. I see no sign of enjury - it walks, stands and flies well. I
hope we have not stressed it too much with all the activity. It flew
several times with our approach and finally flew to a roosting spot
about 30 feet up in a Loblolly Pine. Still, no one has seen it feed, so
the rehabber will return if the bird is found weak enough to capture.

Good Birding,
Patty Craig
