This evening between 6-6:30 PM I saw and heard at least 4 American Woodcock
in the Patapsco Valley State Park scrubland bordering my driveway. The
exceptionally warm temperatures must have attracted them: they are here
about a week early for this location.

The woodcock forecast should be very good for the next few days with the
continued thaw and very wet ground.
