Good point Elaine.  You can also pull over and scope from 17, though the 
one lane road is closer.  I'll also add that if you post from an area 
where special rules apply, it would be helpful to include those rules in 
the first post. (BTW, one local drove over to talk to me while I was 
there yesterday, and he only wanted to ask about what species of duck 
his son had seen with a red head; he did not seem bothered).

  In any event, I wanted to thank Andy for posting since there are of 
course county listers in MD who are interested in Frederick county 
sightings even if the same birds can be more easily observed elsewhere.
