Hi everyone,

Colleen and I spent the afternoon birding in Wicomico and Somerset
Counties. Highlights include:

Schumaker Pond -- Wicomico

American Wigeon -- 2

Checked the dump pond at the landfill and came up empty on any unusual
gulls or waterfowl.

Messick Rd -- Somerset

Blue-winged Teal -- 11
Peregrine Falcon -- 1 -- sitting on the hack tower east of the boat ramp
Great Cormorant -- 1 -- adult sitting on the lighthouse north of the
boat ramp. The white chin and larger size was easily noticeable due
to low heat shimmer. Over 30 DC Cormoants also on the light. The
Great Cormorant was sitting on the tower of the light above all the
Double-crested Cormorants.

Riley Robert's Road -- Somerset

Many dabbler present with Tundra Swan, American Wigeon, Northern
Pintail, Gadwall, and Green-winged Teal making up 95% of the
waterfowl. The Eurasian Wigeon was not seen but is probably still
present.
Clapper Rail -- 1
Boat-tailed Grackle -- 5

Green Dumpster Road -- Somerset

Virginia Rail -- 1
Short-eared Owl -- 1
