Don and I observed the Red-Necked Grebe (previously reported this week) at the Port Deposit public boat launch, floating among the white caps on the Susquehanna River today at 2:00pm. It was very close to the shoreline and very visable.
With the high winds we are experiencing this afternoon and expect tonight, it just might hang out till tomorrow.
