Today at 4:00pm my sister in law, Linnea and I walked around the pond and woods
at Martin Luther King, Jr, Park in White Oak. We are not used to looking for
water birds. We were very excited to see two male Ring-necked Ducks. We also
saw what we believed to be a lone female Hooded Merganser.

Other birds:

Belted Kingfisher
60 Canada Geese
50 Robins
Cedar Waxwings
Brown-headed Cowbirds
Mourning Doves
Red-wing Blackbirds
1 Mockingbird
