Hi all,

A quick run around Blue Mash Nature Trail (Mont. Co.) found some nice
waterfowl on the two ponds and a bonanza of Fox Sparrows in one
location. Otherwise, VERY quiet, as was Brighton Dam on the way home.

Birds of interest:

Blue Mash:

Bald Eagle - 1 (imm.)
Red-tailed Hawk - 2
American Black Duck - 18
Ring-necked Duck - ca. 100
Bufflehead - 8
Hooded Merganser - 20
Pileated Woodpecker - 1
Eastern Bluebird - 1
Eastern Towhee - 2
FOX SPARROW - 15+
Swamp Sparrow - 1
Song Sparrow - ca. 30

Brighton Dam;

Common Merganser - ca. 40
Bufflehead - 1

No Bald eagles there today...
