  Hi all on Thursdsay  afternoon 3 -3-11 after work I made a check of the ponds on Rt 309 near Starr in Queen Annes County .
While not finding  anything  unexpected  the ponds  had some  interesting   sighings
 Just remember   we have no permission to enter the  fields that have any of these ponds . All viewing is  from the roadside only  . I put my scope on a window mount and look from my car  .  



 Rt 309 pond  1 mile from Rt213 

Ring Necked Duck    63
American Wigeon      2
Mallard    8 
Ruddy Duck      1
Tundra Swan    12
Snow Geese      8   in pond   In the air flying  over  2,000 
Green Winged  Teal 

 Pemberton Manor 

Mallard     9
Redhead    1 drake 
Ruddy Duck 2
Green Winged Teal     6
Northern Harrier         2      one was an adult male 
Meadowlark       1

On my way home I cut through Central Sod farm on John Brown Road   near Queenstown  one field there had
