Contrary to some published announcements, the Howard County Waterfowl
Search will NOT/NOT meet at the park and ride on Brokenland Parkway.

We will meet at Dockside. From Rt. 32 take Brokenland Parkway north to
the second traffic light, Cradlerock. Turn right. Go to the second
right, Dockside and turn. Make an immediate left to the parking lot.

I will arrive early to check below the dam, so we can dispense with that
if there are no waterfowl present.

We will walk the length of Elkhorn and visit Forebay Pond at the back end.
From Elkhorn we will visit, in turn, Lake Kittamaqundi, Wilde Lake, and
Centennial. We will likely walk the south shore of Centennial Today
Centennial had at least two Redhead, three Canvasback, 23 Hooded
Mergansers, a surprise two male Red-breasted Mergansers (found by Chuck!),
and a single male Bufflehead. The Redheads have been there for close to a
week, so perhaps will linger. I wouldnąt count on the Red-breasted Mergs
lingering.

If anyone is still standing we will venture out to Triadelphia Reservoir
and visit the dam, and perhaps Greenbridge.

The trip is open to all, no need to pre-register, etc. Car pooling is
encouraged as the Dockside lot is NOT large, and parking at Centennial is
also constrained because the lot we would normally used is closed for
reconstruction of the boat ramp.

We'll keep our fingers crossed the Paper Mill Flats Eurasian Wigeon gets
the wanderlust and strays a little southwest.
