Do swans ever form V"s with Canada Geese? I am asking this because on
my Hughes Hollow site survey this morning I heard geese calling and then
found the flock through the trees and only got a rear view. Much to my
surprise there were 10 all white birds forming the left line of the V. Snow
geese I thought. Then I remembered snows have black wing tips, so I was
lost for ID, If I had gotten a better view this probably wouldn't be a
problem. I had heard a Tundra Swan earlier on the count.
