Hi all,

Did a bit of a walk-around Brookside Gardens and adjacent Wheaton Park 
(Mont. Co.). Despite the bright sunshine and calm conditions, birding was 
rather slow. However, there were a few birds of interest:

Canada Goose - 20
Mallard - 12
Pileated Woodpecker - 1
Hairy Woodpecker - 3
Red-bellied Woodpecker - 2
Belted Kingfisher - 1 (back at Pine Lake from ??)
White-breasted Nuthatch - 2
Carolina Chickadee - 8
BLACK-CAPPED CHICKADEE - 1 (Brookside Nature Ctr. feeders)
Tufted Titmouse - 4
Carolina Wren - 2
WINTER WREN - 1
Blue Jay - 2
Fish Crow - 1
American Crow - 5
American Robin - 45
Eastern Bluebird - 2
Song Sparrow - 6
White-throated Sparrow - 8
Slate-colored Junco -16
House Finch - 2
American Goldfinch - 2
Northern Cardinal -6
Common Grackle - 20
Red-winged Blackbird - 3
