Morning all,
I know that Tree Swallows have been seen in parts of MD for some time now, but "my" bird(s) just arrived this morning, here in Woodbine. One was flying around the yard and checking out at least two of my boxes, already sparring with the bluebirds. Great to see (and hear) them again!

And talk about site and calendar fidelity; Last year they arrived on the exact same date, March 19, which is the earliest I have for them, and to the exact same box, where they nested.

Yesterday I had a large flock of RIng-billed Gulls fly over, low, heading north around 9 AM, perhaps 30 birds.

Enjoy the weekend,

Rick Sussman
