This evening there was a Red-necked Grebe swimming with three
Pied-billed Grebes on the Potomac, as viewed from Fort Washington in
Prince George's County. Also present was a Common Loon in beautiful
breeding plumage, a Horned Grebe, six Bonaparte's Gulls and abundant
Osprey (8 adults).
