Hi Folks,

Sandy Point State Park (AA Co.) was fairly quiet today, but a CASPIAN TERN
flying by beat my earliest personal Maryland record by nine days.

Yesterday Ed Carlson and I did a survey of Swan Creek, hoping to see a
Red-necked Grebe from that property. No luck, but we later went to Fort
Armistead and saw one Red-necked Grebe, at first in Baltimore Co., but then
pushed into AA Co. by a passing cargo ship. My last Anne Arundel RN Grebe
was also seen at Fort Armistead--in Feb 2004.

Yesterday was a hopping day in the yard, with three FOX SPARROWs, a CHIPPING
SPARROW, and a BROWN THRASHER.
