Hello,
An FYI I went to Southwest Area Park in Baltimore and was able to relocate the American Bittern today. It was in the reeds at the south end of the pond, to the right when heading towards the boat launch. I spent time on it and only birded about half of the usual locations so species count was low. Another highlight was 4 Great Egrets at close range and singing Swamp Sparrows. I attached a full list if anyone is interested. Also uploaded a video of the Bittern skulking on the shoreline, it came out after a while. Had some technical difficulties towards the end.
