Greetings,

The Kent County Bird Club will be heading to the Chesapeake Bay
Environmental Center (Horsehead) in Grasonville on Saturday, 9 April.
We will meet local participants at the Dollar General parking lot in
downtown Chestertown, across from the end of Spring St., at 8:00 AM.
Anyone who wishes to meet us near Grasonville should contact us ahead of
time to make arrangements. Migration is in full gear, so we'll be
searching for songbird migrants including sparrows and early warblers,
as well as water birds including late waterfowl, herons, and gannets.
The weather could be damp, so dress appropriately and bring lunch.

The April meeting of the Kent County Bird Club will be Tuesday, 12 April
at 7:30 PM at Heron Point in Chestertown. After our brief meeting, Gary
Van Velsir from Baltimore will present a program on his birding travels
in China. China's geographic spread and varied topography produce an
equally diverse bird fauna. We hope you can join us for the meeting and
light refreshments afterward.

Our meetings begin at 7:30 PM in Wesley Hall, in the Heron Point
community at the end of East Campus Ave in Chestertown. East Campus Ave
is the light on Washington Ave (MD-213) at the south edge of the
Washington College campus. If headed north, turn right, if headed south,
turn left off of Washington Ave. Follow East Campus Ave to the Heron
Point community and bear right on Sassafras Dr, continuing to the large
parking lot at the end. Wesley Hall is upstairs in the building on your
right as you enter the parking area; enter through the large portico.
