*Retraction:* After reevaluation, you might want to post a retraction since
a lot of folks who would be interested in seeing Franklin's Gulls may make a
chase for nothing if you feel that you may have erred, and at today's fuel
costs it would be a shame for them to do so. ...

Please accept my sincere apologies for having posted without having
evaluated my findings. The euphora of the moment of shore birds back after a
bleak winter was a happy wsight. It didn't help looking into the sun with
just binoculars. Thank's all for the very kind corrections.  But I will
stick with my Snowy Egrets .  I thought of dowitchers because their heads
were bobbing up and down...I see that lesser yellow legs are active feeders
too. Again, thank you, Ed Boyd,  for  the corrections and professional
manners.
