Kevin Graff just turned me on to the likely culprit of my warbler mystery -
some odd plumaged female/young male type Common Yellowthroat. I didn't get a
great look at the bird, but coupled with the chip/call note I heard I'm
pretty convinced. Sorry for the Vermivora scare.
