Lisa and I spent an enchanting hour and a half at Oxbow Lake, AA County, this afternoon. Highlights were first of year Palm Warbler, Louisiana Waterthrush, Green Heron and (finally!!) Ruby-Crowned Kinglet. ... Many fewer ducks around than just 10 days ago, but plenty of Wilson's Snipe and Caspian Terns, etc.

Biggest surprise of the trip came just after we merged onto the southbound BW Parkway from MD Route 32 and saw a Wild Turkey lumbering over the highway.
