All: Much thanks to Fred S. for the post. I visited Schoolhouse Pond
from 9-9:45 this morning, and watched the Glossy Ibis take off and
circle the pond to the east. It did not look like it was going far, and
may be re-findable in the Schoolhouse Pond/Depot Pond area...

Other highlights were:

_ Large # of Wilson's Snipe on the mudflats in the back. I counted at
least 12.

_ Two FoY Blue-Gray Gnatcatchers.

_ Two Great Blue Herons in a shallow area at the front of the pond,
walking in tandem, necks and bills ramrod straight. One heron then
pounces on the other, they lock bills and splash into the water. Second
heron flies off. Not sure if this was mating or territorial behavior?

Good Birding!
