Yesterday I watched the GB heron fly into the trees across from my neighbors house. A few Vultures flew away as it landed. I think it was bringing something to the heron that was already in the tree. I was able to snap a few shots from my deck. I believe this is the same spot that the heron nested last year and I found the dead chick on my neighbors lawn.
Also from yesterday I must have counted 15 WT Sparrows and just as many Cardinals in my yard, deck and trees. They seem to like to hang out together. Today, I saw more Titmouse and Chickadees along with the Cardinals and Wt Sparrows.
Also, seeing my FOY Chipping Sparrows. My Pine Warbler is still here and a few Rb Nuthatches and Juncos.
A link to my distant GB heron.
