Weather:
A few clouds, then sunny in the afternoon; 49-69 degrees; fair to good
visibility with haze early; winds mostly northerly, 5-8 mph.

Raptor Observations:
A very pleasant day with a good, steady flight to go with it.  Good numbers
of buteos, acipiters, and Ospreys.

Non-raptor Observations:
A Sora called twice from the phragmites around the pond.  Two Laughing
Gulls, first of the season.  71 American Goldfinches.  Red Admiral and
Mourning Cloak butterflies.

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
