Hi all,

Jo Anna and I did a little car birding today checking various water spots,
some highlights were large numbers of NORTHERN GANNETs in Herring Bay with a
maximum count of 52 at one time. Merkle had high numbers of yellowlegs,
with 48 GREATERs and 27 LESSERs, I would guess many of these were displaced
by the extremely high water at Jug Bay. A quick trip to Home Depot isn't
complete without a quick scan of Depot Pond, as we were approaching just
before sunset, a flock of 16 PLEGADIS Sp. IBIS flew from the north end and
continued south in the general direction of Jug Bay, it was too dark to see
much in the way of plumage details. Yesterday I heard two WOOD THRUSHES
calling while walking the dogs along Fenno Road.

Good Birding!
