I believe that this would constitute a first Anne Arundel record. And almost as 
far north as you can go in AA to boot. Don't hold your breath on this being 
real, though. If you've been paying attention to the GBBC for many years 
(remember Richard Wood and the High Priests of Birding?), lots of BHNUs got 
reported in some very unlikely areas before Marshall Iliff created the 
individual county filters that made it harder to report birds that aren't on the 
filter. To my knowledge, the furthest north that they are currently being seen 
is at the end of Lloyd Bowen Road in Calvert though I would bet that they're 
somewhere on Broomes Island or nearby in correct habitat. 


I've always been curious about what exactly it is that is being erroneously 
reported. Brown Creeper?

I saw a report on the eBird gadget about 2 Brown-headed Nuthatches
here in Anne Arundel inside the Patuxent NT.  Any details would be
appreciated!
