Weather:
Partly sunny with haze; 59-84 degrees; poor to fair visibility;  winds
started light and northerly 0-9 mph and eventually turned strong and
southwesterly, 10-18 mph, gusting to 27 mph.

Raptor Observations:
A terrific flight today, dominated by Sharp-shinned Hawks, but there were
also good numbers of most other species, especially Northern Harriers.  A
local adult Peregrine Falcon also flew in and sat in a tree for a few
minutes.

Non-raptor Observations:
About 800 Blue Jays

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
