Just now, about 7:40 P on the platform feeder and subsequently on a perch, a male Rose-breasted Grosbeak, for us very unusual. Still enough light to get a photograph. Not so unusual, a male Pileated on the suet. Both male and female have been been coming in for weeks (maybe all winter). Possibly have young in a nearby tree. Also a female hummingbird on the humming bird feeder -both males and females have been visiting for about a week. I pair of now resident catbirds were also flitting about. Oddly we still are seeing an occasional White-throated Sparrow. But no Juncos for more than a week. We overlook a stream valley. Happy Valley, in the Bannockburn area of Bethesda
