No kites of the avian variety, but my Easter weekend birds included:
Harford: a pair of rare-in-county COMMON RAVENS croaking repeatedly and
circling above the trees Sunday afternoon at Harford Glen Park; at Swan
Harbor Farm Park Sunday morning had ALL THE SWALLOWS and martins except
Cliff plus the BOBOLINK reported by Peter and Dave (thanks guys), and
Monday evening had at least three and possibly five SORAS and a calling
LEAST BITTERN.
Cecil: at Elk Neck State Forest had BLUE-WINGED WARBLER, WORM-EATING
WARBLER, a lingering (?) BLACK-CAPPED CHICKADEE, and my foy
BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLERS everywhere.
Full lists submitted to eBird.
And this morning finally had a neotropical migrant in my yard -- a
singing male BALTIMORE ORIOLE.
Good birding!
