Evening Grosbeak in Howard County

Hello Everyone,

 

This is my first post so bear with me if not in the correct format or style.

 

An Evening Grosbeak is being seen at a private feeder in northern Howard
County. It is a dull-looking female, and was first reported to me yesterday
by my neighbor (the homeowner). I saw the bird this morning at 8:00 a.m. but
only for about 1 minute. It is very skittish. I believe it is flying between
feeders in the area but have not seen it at my feeder which is only about
200 yards as the crow (er, the Grosbeak) flies. That would be a nice yard
bird if it happens to show up here! In that case, I will definitely allow
visitors! J
