a real good day at LB at the Wilson's Mill parking area field and then along the Kingsley trail. i was seeing lots of birds including a FOY scarlet tanager on the south side of the trail about 3/4 of the way to the school from the parking lot when i heard something behind me and i turned around and saw a beautiful singing male hooded warbler. had around 40 different species today so far and it was topped off by an eastern meadowlark on the wires near where the crossroads of clarksburg rd. and lewisdale rd. been a while since i've seen one in this area.
