Howdy!

Kevin Oxenrider, Sara Rothamel and I took a quick trip out to Old Legislative Road this afternoon between classes. We saw and heard at least four HENSLOW'S SPARROWS at the first field, and another about a half mile down the road. We also heard a GRASSHOPPER SPARROW (my FOY), saw a lone male BOBOLINK, and quite a few EASTERN MEADOWLARKS.

Also heard were several YELLOW WARBLERS, a CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER, and a couple of COMMON YELLOWTHROATS.

Good birding!
Matt
