Got out for the first time in a long time today.  In the morning I birded Pennyfield Lock and Blockhouse Point.  Most of the migrant breeders were present.  Pure migrants were a bit thinner but include Black-throated Blue and Green, Chestnut-sided and Northern Waterthrush.

After a break for kid's soccer and other chores I went out again in the late afternoon.  I ended up at Hughes Hollow where I had 2 Common Ravens fly over at c 7pm and then a Plegadis sp ibis at 7:45, which was fairly high and headed straight for Virginia.

Good birding
