Tuesday morning I visited the Liberty Watershed at Bollinger Mill Road. I
was greeted immediately by a Hooded Warbler singing next to the parking
area. Later I saw a pair including a female with a partial hood. A fourth
bird was singing in the distance. There were not many migrants but both
orioles were there.
In the afternoon I visited a private residence on Wilt Road near Marston
where an adult male Painted Bunting was seen and photographed on Apirl
13-14. It has not been seen since. I walked around the property with the
most interesting bird being a Black-billed Cuckoo that I heard. I also saw
two Ruby-crowned Kinglets and a female Black-throated Blue Warbler.
In a field on Muller Road was a small flock of Bobolinks.

Wednesday at Piney Run Park it was very windy on the lake. I saw four
Common Loons, one adult and three immatures. There were over a hundred
swallows cruising over the lake with Barn Swallows being in the majority,
but I also saw Rough-winged, Bank, and Cliff.
