Recently I have been going to Kenilworth Park after work to search for
shorebirds from the back (SW) access point of the large Kenilworth marsh.
Yesterday while in the park I was pleasantly surprised to see an AMERICAN
PIPIT in the puddles along the side of the main road.

Today I scanned a flock of small black passerines that swooped in over the
treetops and landed in one of the shrubby trees next to the athletic track
and expected to see starlings. I was happy to see that they were not
starlings but were 9 BOBOLINK, 8 males and a female.

Waiting for Purple Gallinule in DC,
