Beautiful day at Milford Mill. The singing was crazy. All kinds of buzzing and phrases and variations. Frustrating b/c I KNOW I left some birds out there I couldn't be sure about. I was there a couple of hours but wish I could have stayed much longer. I may go back this afternoon. I ran into a couple of birders--thanks to Keith and, later, to Sean for comments that allowed me to get a couple of birds I might not have otherwise gotten. Best bird was a long, close view of a Cape May. A NoWa was singing vigorously when I heard, high up, the clinking tamborine of one or more blackpolls. Nice to hear a Cerulean a few times.

Some of the birds:

Scarlet Tanager (1 at least)
Rose-Breasted Grosbeak (2)
Veery (2)
SWAINSON'S THRUSH (2, fos)
Balt Oriole (several)
Acadian Fly (2+--I missed the nest, Keith)

Warblers:

Nashville Warbler (1, fos)
Parula (many)
Chestnut-Sided (several, fos)
CAPE MAY (2, fos)
Black-Throated Blue (several)
Yellow Rumped (quite a few)
BLACKPOLL (a few, fos)
CERULEAN (1)
Black-and-White (3)
Redstart (many)
Ovenbird (2+)
Northern Waterthrush (1)
C Yellowthroat (several)
