This morning hubby and I took a quick walk up to the study site and to the lake at Prettyboy.

Birds seen and heard were Bluebird, Chickadee, Wb Nuthatch, Cardinals, Goldfinches, Chipping Sparrows, Great Crested Flycatcher, a lot of noisy crows and bluejays. I was not there long just walking thru to the lake.

I did catch what I believe is a juvenile Bald Eagle flying over the clear cut area of the study site. It is always neat to see the eagles at the reservoir.

Photos numbers 4,5, 6, and 7 were taken at the clear cut area for the eagle and the great Crest Flycatcher near the thinning area. I know the eagle fly over does not count in the bird study but I thought it was neat to see it.

Also, on my deck I am pretty sure this is a female Rose Breasted Grosbeak, can someone confirm. The first two photos on my first gallery page .
