Daniel and all,

We were also at Jug Bay today. Our list is similar to Daniel's, but we
missed on Bald Eagle, Caspian Tern, Pileated WP, Yellow Rumped,
Black-throated Green, LA Waterthrush, Swamp Sparrow and the Least SP.

However we got some that he missed:
Spotted SP at Merkle
Bobolink at Merkle
Red-headed WP
Northern Flicker
Am Crow
Fish Crow
Marsh Wren- heard near observation tower on Merkle side
Yellow-throated Vireo
(Probable) Philadelphia Vireo - Laura saw it. I missed
Yellow Warbler at Merkle
Canada Warbler
Hooded Warbler
Yellow-throated Warbler
Chestnut-sided Warbler
Blue-winged Warbler

The Bobolink was in his usual habitat near the visitor center at Merkle - at
the top of a cedar tree. Ain't that where everybody looks for them? We heard
him sing and there he was. Visible from the parking lot.
Red-headed WP was at the end of a long trail we like to hike from the
Patuxent River Park side. Laura spotted it while looking for a Redstart.
Canada warbler wasn't far from there.
Several of the warblers were found in the tree next to the restrooms.:
Blue-winged, Blackpoll and Chestnut-sided.
Our Wood Ducks included some fresh new little ones.

Also found the PINK LADYSLIPPERS in their usual spot just over the wooden
bridge on the Merkle side. Some were still blooming.
Beautiful day to be out there. Hated to come home.
