This morning I took a long hike at Morgan Run NEA from the south entrance
on Ben Rose Lane. It was one of my best warbler days in recent years. Here
is a list of the non-resident species today:
Wood Duck 2
Double-crested Cormorant - a flock of 4 flying over
Black-billed Cuckoo 3, two in the field at the parking lot flew into the
edge of the woods and posed nicely, another was heard later. This is my
fourth Black-billed of the spring and still no Yellow-bills. Not
complaining; that's about five years worth of Black-bills for me.
Ruby-throated Hummingbird 1
Pewee 1, heard only
Acadian Flycatcher 3
Great Crested Flycatcher 2
Kingbird 2
White-eyed Vireo 4
Yellow-throated Vireo 1, heard only

have ever seen
