Hi Eileen,
 We've been putting out big clumps of our yellow labs hair lately too. He's been brushed twice recently (and could use more!), and also hoping for either chickadees or titmice to grab some hair for nesting. I think Chipping Sparrows will also use it, as they also use horse hair.

Just watched a Titmouse fly away with some of my dogs hair.  I have plenty more 
y Golden retriever is really shedding.
Very neat sight to watch.
