The pastures at the NIH Animal Center are beginning to be mowed this week. I 
tried to get them to hold off until the second week in June, but my pleas 
obviously were ignored.  As there are quite a few meadowlarks around, I have 
assume that they are nesting, or trying to.  My question is whether anyone can 
estimate the cost to nesting success of mowing now as opposed to the second week 
in June.
