Just a few highlights:

Woke at 5 a.m. To a barred owl calling, then had gray catbird, orchard oriole, cedar waxwings, great crested flycatcher, pine warbler and white breasted nuthatch.
AAA pond had two green heron, I saw no courting or nesting. There was four male wood duck and one female no sign of young.
At Camp Maria had a oven bird and Newtowne Neck Road is a very birdie spot right now. Lots of blue grosbeak, barn and tree swallows, meadowlarks, indigo bunting and blue gray gnatcatchers. Had a summer tanager on Joe Hazel Road and a great egret in a small pond at a farm.
Rosebank Court had a yellow bill cuckoo first I have seen sine 2009.
Breton Bay area was very bird busy and I got to see a brown creeper on Knight Road.
Beavuue Pond had two dickcissel and my favorite was a bobolink.
Also enjoyed seeing a red fox, six young ground hogs, three box turtles I saved in Breton Bay, deer, painted turtles, several frogs and many bunnies.
Even with all the showers and hard rain it was a fun day.

Happy Birding to all
