Sunday morning at Clyburn Arboretum in Baltimore City, birders from that club found several wood thrush. I spied a fledgling wood thrush in a bush at eye level 2 feet from the path on the mansion's lawn while its mother foraged nearby. Also well seen and heard repeatedly was an Eastern towhee, several catbirds and mucho robins.

Watch out for suspected giant hogweed on the woodland edge trail!
