Jason and others,

Last year was a great one for shorebirds in DC because the Reflecting Pool was half-drained due to maintenance.  Fantastic habitat for a week or so.

Birds seen in the Reflecting Pool that week were:
Semipalmated Sandpiper
Stilt Sandpiper
White-rumped Sandpiper
Semipalmated Plover
Dunlin

Possibly others, but I think I saw them all.
