I birded a little bit in Talbot County yesterday. It was hot and humid and
the birds were quiet.

Some highlights:

Pickering Creek Audubon Center:
Bufflehead - 1 - male
Ruddy Duck - 1
Snowy Egret - 2
GLOSSY IBIS - 3 - Seen from the blind next to the entrance road. Flew off to
the NE after about five minutes of viewing and didn't return during my
visit.
Semipalmated Sandpiper - 28

Kings Creek Nature Preserve:
Marsh Wren - 3

Tarbutton Mill Road
Worm-eating Warbler - 2
Acadian Flycatcher - 1

Spring Road Impoundments:
Mallard - 175 - exact count
Common Moorhen - 2

Black Walnut Point
Double-crested Cormorant - 145
Herring Gull - 30
Great Black-backed Gull - 10
Least Tern - 2
Forster's Tern - 10
