On Sunday we took a walk down the trail below the dam to the Gunpowder River. The Mountain Laurels are all in bloom.

I happened to see this bird on a rock right next to the river. i am sure it is the Waterthrush, but I am not sure if it is the Northern or the Louisana?

Lots of birds heard and other birds seen were the Scarlet Tanager, lots of Acadian Flycatchers, Phoebes and I am sure I heard a Prothonotary warbler.
