I kept seeing this large bird flying around and at first thought it was a crow 
flying high in the sky and perched on a distant telephone pole.  I only saw its 
back and quick glimpse through the trees, but I became certain it was not crow. 
 One day I was out in the backyard watching a Blue Jay up high in a tree. 
 Suddenly, the Blue Jay Jumped up and turned to look back.  I then heard and 
felt something fly over my head!  All of the birds in the tree came flying out 
and the birds on the feeders flew away.  Standing perch in the tree was a large 
bird, way bigger then anything I have seen around here.  It flew back and forth 
between 2 large trees and then quickly out towards Belair Rd.  Flying real low. 
 I did not see any Goldfinch for a week!

Surprised to see what I believe to be a Cooper's Hawk here in  Northeast 
Baltimore City. Pics are not that great, but what do you think?
