Hughes Hollow had a normal compliment of birds in addition to the 
Mississippi Kite:

Numbers of Green Heron (at least 4)
Turkey Vultures
Red-shouldered Hawk
Tree Swallows
Canada Goose
Male and female Red-winged Blackbirds
Cedar Waxwings
Ruby-throated Humming Bird
Great Egret
Eastern Phoebe
Eastern Kingbird
Cardinal
Europeon Starling
Field Sparrow
Common Grackle
Orchard Orioles including first year male
Baltimore Oriole
Indigo Bunting (heard)
Easterm Pewee
Acadian Flycatcher
Yellow-throated Vireo
Common Yellow-throat
Prothonatory Warbler
